In these training sessions, new MATLAB features that simplify tasks such as naming objects in a scene or recognizing optimal paths in an environment, and eliminate low-level programming will be demonstrated.

The data sciences workstation features tools for data analysis, processing, and visualization, as well as links to information on using data tools, conducting research using data mining, and finding data available for reuse.

The NIH Library is pleased to host a two-day Software Carpentry Workshop on April 4–5. The workshop will cover basic software concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation.

The NIH Library is participating in the Hour of Code by hosting four hands-on coding classes, December 4–6, at the NIH Library and online via webinar. Because these classes are hands-on, they are being offered for a little more than an hour.
