 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Have you ever wondered what the difference between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) is? Are you interested in how these technologies are being used today? The NIH Library is excited to offer a new class: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

This is an introductory class designed for those looking to gain a basic understanding of AI and ML and how they already impact our everyday lives. This one-hour webinar will introduce the basic principles of AI and ML and the current state of the field, including examples of AI in common applications and health research. AI limitations and ethical considerations will also be discussed. 

The class will be held online via WebEx, November 18, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Registration is required. For more information, contact Alicia Lillich, alicia.lillich@nih.gov.
