We wanted to share some exciting news. We have been hard at work redesigning the NIH Library website as part of our effort to continually improve our online presence. The new site won’t launch until January 2017, but we wanted to share a sneak peek now.

Key efforts of the redesign will include:
Updating our site’s visual design
Improving the search functionality
Developing a new mobile-friendly responsive design that optimizes the site for all devices
Implementing a new underlying technology (Drupal) to keep us current with technology standards and streamline site maintenance
We know that many at NIH depend on the current website for quick and seamless access to the Library’s information and resources. We also understand that change can be hard, and new doesn’t always mean better. We are working to keep all those great services and resources intact and ensure the new design continues to meet your needs.
In the coming months, we will provide more details on the redesign. We will also offer you the opportunity to explore the new site and provide us feedback as part of our redesign process. We look forward to hearing from you as we implement these changes to our digital presence.
