Software Carpentry Workshop at the NIH Library: Registration Now Open

The NIH Library is pleased to host a two-day Software Carpentry Workshop on April 4–5. The workshop will cover basic software concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation.

Requirements: Participants must bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating system (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.) on which they have administrative privileges. Before attending, participants should install the software packages listed on the Software Carpentry workshop page. A limited number of laptops pre-loaded with the workshop software will be available; contact Doug Joubert prior to the class to reserve one.
