Did you know that you can earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits through resources provided by the NIH Library?

We are excited to offer an introductory class designed for those looking to gain a basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

We redesigned the website to improve your access to the Library’s information resources and services. The April 3 launch is only the first stage of our ongoing website work. In the coming year, we will continue to develop and update the site’s content and features based on input from you.

Are you intrigued by Virtual Reality (VR)? Have you wondered if VR is a technology that could help you with your research? Come to the NIH Library to learn more about the possibilities VR offers for research, collaboration, and education.

It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the NIH Library and share a few exciting developments.

The NIH Big Read will feature a series of book discussions and an author presentation about  “The Gene: An Intimate History” (2016) by Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, the Pulitzer Prize-winning, best-selling author of “The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer” (2010). The NIH Big Read will conclude with an event featuring the author, Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, on April 17, in Masur Auditorium (Building 10), 2:00–3:00 p.m.

The first VR demo session will be held March 7 and features an introduction to the Library’s new HTC Vive system, followed by a demo of Chimera, a program for interactive visualization and analysis of molecular structures and related data.
