BioBots Bioprinter Demonstration December 10
The BioBot 1 is a desktop bioprinter that builds 3D tissues from cells. It has a dual extruder system that uses visible blue light to cure biomaterials without harming cells, and it has 100 um resolution.
3D Modeling with OpenSCAD Class Offers Hands-On Learning
This is a hands-on class in which students will design a small 3D model from start to finish using the open source software OpenSCAD and export it to Makerware for pre-print slicing.
