The NIH Library is pleased to present a one-day bioinformatics workshop and several bioinformatics classes this month, all offered online.

This free service features bioinformatics consulting, training, analysis tools and databases hosted on high-performance computing workstations in the NIH Library and other open sources in NIH.

The NIH Library Bioinformatics Support Program has organized a training class on using Partek Genomics Suite (NGS), with Partek Pathway, for analysis of gene expression and functional analysis of microarray data.

The NIH Library Bioinformatics Support Program has organized a hands-on class where students will learn RNA-Seq and DNA-Seq data analysis, and how to integrate NGS data with microarray data using Partek Flow.

NIH Library Technology Hub (or "Tech Hub") is a physical and virtual space designed to facilitate collaboration at NIH, to encourage exploration of research-focused cutting-edge technology, and to inspire innovation in the government.

Partek will hold a user group meeting on October 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The NIH Library Bioinformatics Support Program will host the Partek: Microarray and NGS Data Analysis class October 7 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and October 8 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.).
