Whether you are working on your very first manuscript, need to create a scientific poster, or are looking to learn more about preparing statistics for publication, these NIH Library classes will enhance your skills and set you up for publishing success.

  • All about APIs: From Access to Practical Uses to Be Held May 23

    Have you ever wondered how to extract the bibliographic data contained within key resources (PubMed, Web of Knowledge, Scopus) for internal projects? Scholarly publishers and databases offer APIs (application programming interfaces) to allow users the ability to systematically access data to serve a variety of research purposes.

  • Mendeley Institutional Edition

    The Mendeley Institutional Edition is now available to NIH affiliates. Mendeley is a reference manager and an academic collaboration network that can increase researcher productivity.

  • 3D Modeling with OpenSCAD Class Offers Hands-On Learning

    This is a hands-on class in which students will design a small 3D model from start to finish using the open source software OpenSCAD and export it to Makerware for pre-print slicing.

  • Fostering Research and Discovery – June 4th

    NIH staff are invited to attend “Fostering Research and Discovery” on June 4, organized by the NIH Library. This free event will be held in the NIH Library Training Room, Building 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both in-person and remote attendance options are available. Registration is required.
