Gergana Kostova joined the NIH Library in October 2022. She holds a Master’s in Library Science (MLS) from the University of Maryland iSchool and a Doctor of Philosophy in Slavic Studies from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria.
Prior to joining the NIH, she worked as a Cataloger and Metadata Librarian at the American Institute of Physics (AIP). Before joining the AIP, she worked as a Reference and Instruction Librarian, and served as a liaison to the Emergency Health Services Department and the Center for Advanced Sensor Technology (CAST) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
