As a Clinical Informationist at the NIH Library, Judy Welsh works with the Critical Care Medicine Department, Rehabilitation Medicine Department, and Nursing and Patient Care Services.
Prior to joining the NIH Library, Judy worked as a registered nurse and later as an academic health sciences librarian at the University of California at Davis, where she served as liaison librarian to the Department of Internal Medicine and Coordinator of the HouseCalls Outreach Program.
Judy earned a Masters of Library Science degree from UCLA and BSN degree from Cornell University-New York Hospital School of Nursing.

Judy provides a variety of research and information management services including comprehensive literature searches and literature searches in support of systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and evidence based practice; cited reference searches for times cited and h index publication metrics; bibliographic management and manuscript preparation support; and web page development. Judy meets with clients for consultations and provides instruction on these and related topics.
