Instructions

The NIH Library’s physical space is currently closed but we continue to serve you through Remote Access to our Workspace machines.

After registration, follow these directions on remote access to this specific Workspace

These computers are designated for use by NIH/HHS staff with a valid ID, up to a maximum of eight hours daily per customer. As a courtesy to others, please be prepared to immediately vacate at the end of your reservation. Cancelation of a reservation occurs for workstations that are empty fifteen minutes after the start time unless calculations are in progress.

Overnight runs are permissible. However, a next day reservation is required as early as possible. A note may be placed at the workstation asking other users to not shut down the running application. The NIH Library is not responsible for any lost data.
