Databases covered include PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and MediRegs.

Session Description

The Cochrane Library consists of a collection of regularly updated evidence-based health care databases designed to support health care decision-making.  The session will provide basic and intermediate level users with an understanding of the most useful techniques for navigating The Cochrane Library online. The session will provide an overview of the content in the Cochrane Library and the basic features found in a systematic review.  Attendees will learn the most effective ways of finding information within The Cochrane Library, using both the browse and search functions. We will also be introducing users to new features of the Cochrane Library scheduled to release this summer. Taught by Colleen Finley, Product Manager, Search and Discovery.
