The NIH Library is an open stacks biomedical research library, whose collection and services are developed to support the programs of the NIH, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and selected U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies. The NIH Library provides access to over 15,000 electronic journals, 80,000 e-books, and over 50 databases. For our CMS customers, the NIH Library provides services in document delivery, reference assistance, scholarly and grey literature searching, and in-person and online training.
