ClinicalKey is a comprehensive reference tool that helps clinicians find trusted, evidence-based information to support patient care. Designed for physicians, nurses, and other health professionals, ClinicalKey brings point-of-care answers and full-text clinical content together on one platform.

The NIH Library provides access to ClinicalKey, making it easier to find the information needed for research, clinical decision-making, and patient education.

NIH staff can access ClinicalKey while connected to the NIH network or VPN. To get more out of ClinicalKey (download book chapters, save content, earn CME and MOC credits, etc.), create a free personal account:

  1. Go to ClinicalKey while connected to the NIH network or VPN
  2. Select “Register” in the upper-right corner
  3. Register using your NIH email address
