See how your research is influencing policy and clinical practice. The NIH Library can provide NIH staff with BMJ Impact Analytics reports showing when their journal articles are cited in policy and clinical guidance documents.
Get Started (NIH staff only)
Submit a BMJ Impact Analytics request. NIH Librarians will use BMJ Impact Analytics, a database from BMJ Group, to analyze your scholarly publications and provide you with:
- A report listing number of citing policy and clinical guideline documents by country, top sources, top funders, documents by year, policy and guidance topics, cited institutions, policy and guidance classifications, policy and clinical guideline document types, cited journals, and cited publishers
- An Excel file of publications with policy and clinical guideline mentions
- An Excel file of citing policy and clinical guideline documents and matched references
BMJ Impact Analytics data can be used to provide a deeper, more nuanced understanding of the research’s regulatory and clinical impact.
