  • OmicCircos: Data Visualization for Data Integration―December 9th

    OmicCircos is a free tool used to generate high-quality circular plots for visualizing annotations and genomic variations, including mutation patterns, copy number variations (CNVs), expression patterns, and methylation patterns.

  • BioBots Bioprinter Demonstration December 10

    The BioBot 1 is a desktop bioprinter that builds 3D tissues from cells. It has a dual extruder system that uses visible blue light to cure biomaterials without harming cells, and it has 100 um resolution.

  • GeneSpring 13.1 Training Offered December 3rd

    The NIH Library Bioinformatics Support Program has organized a GeneSpring 13.1 training class for December 3. This free training will be held in the NIH Library Training Room, Building 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., which includes Tips and Tricks from 1 to 4 p.m. Registration is required.

  • 3D Modeling with OpenSCAD Class Offers Hands-On Learning

    This is a hands-on class in which students will design a small 3D model from start to finish using the open source software OpenSCAD and export it to Makerware for pre-print slicing.
