The NIH Library is pleased to present three half-day bioinformatics workshops on using cloud computing platforms.

Registration now open for the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Symposium, September 9, 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m

Join us for this new class being offered by the NIH Library, NCI Cancer Research Data Commons: Cloud Computing, presented by the NIH Library in partnership with NCI.

The NIH Library is pleased to present a one-day bioinformatics workshop and several bioinformatics classes this month, all offered online.

This free service features bioinformatics consulting, training, analysis tools and databases hosted on high-performance computing workstations in the NIH Library and other open sources in NIH.

The NIH Library Bioinformatics Support Program is presenting Partek Flow: Hands-On Single Cell RNA-Seq Data Analysis on November, 6, 1:00 p.m.– 4:00 p.m.

This hands-on training will provide an introduction to ChIP sequencing data analysis. The overview will be followed by a tutorial showing the ChIP-seq analysis workflow and then preparing participants to independently run basic ChIP-seq analysis for peak calling using a “point and click” approach on a Galaxy platform.

Designed specifically for biologists, GeneSpring GX 14.9 offers an interactive computing and visualization environment that promotes investigation and enables understanding of transcriptomics, genomics, metabolomics, and proteomics data within a biological context.

The NIH Library Bioinformatics Support Program is presenting a Creating and Running Software with Singularity class on July 26, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. in the NIH Library Training Room, Building 10.
