The NIH Library's Recording Studio is designed to help you create high-quality audio and video content for your research, presentations, and training materials. Whether you need to record an interview or podcast, practice a presentation, create an online tutorial, or host a webinar, our self-service studio provides the professional tools you need.
Temporary Location Update
The Recording Studio is currently being relocated to a new space. During this transition the studio is not available for standard reservations. If you would like to use our recording equipment or have questions about what is available during the move, please contact our Multimedia Services team. We will work with you to determine options and support your project.
Studio Features
Located on the lower level of the NIH Library, the Recording Studio is equipped with:

- Microphones: A selection of microphones suited for various recording needs.
- Headphones: Monitor your audio with precision.

How to Use the Studio
The studio normally operates on a self-service model that allows you to manage your own recording projects. Library staff are also available for setup help, troubleshooting, and basic guidance. Standard reservations will resume once the relocation is complete. Until then please reach out to the Multimedia Services team for assistance with recording needs.

If you're new to recording or need help getting started, we offer one-on-one consultations and tutorials. Our staff can guide you through the recording process, from setting up equipment to editing your final product.
