The NIH Library offers a range of Artificial Intelligence (AI) trainings to support NIH staff at all experience levels, from foundational knowledge to applied skills. Offerings include AI Literacy: Navigating the World of Artificial Intelligence and AI Update: What’s New in Artificial Intelligence?, as well as hands-on workshops such as Effective AI Communication: A Prompt Engineering Workshop and Crafting Your Generative AI Usage Strategy. The Library also hosts sessions on AI chatbots and applied AI in cloud environments, equipping staff with practical strategies to use AI tools effectively and responsibly in research and administrative work.

Crafting Your Generative AI Usage Strategy: Lunch and Learn

This 45-minute online Lunch and Learn training will help attendees develop their own customized strategy for responsibly incorporating generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as ChatGPT, into their workflows. 

By the end of this training, attendees will be able to: 

  • Assess appropriate use cases for generative AI tools within their specific research/work context
